Job Description

AB Bank Zambia is looking for an individual to fill the position of Facilities Officer. In this role the Facilities Officers will provide produce and analyse Architectural drawings and work hand in hand with the Senior Facilities Officers. As such, the Facilites Officers will be responsible for delivering excellent service and creating a professional and friendly image of the Bank.

Among other responsibilities, you will be expected to:

  • Produce and analyse Architectural drawings.
  • Produce and analyse BOQs.
  • Maintenance of building, property, and facilities.
  • Management of Projects.
  • Management of Office space and fixed asset.
  • Effective Premises security management and access control.

Your Minimum Qualifications and Competencies should be:

  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or any related field.
  • Good Communication and presentation skills, orally & verbally.
  • Fluency in English and in one local language is a must.
  • Ability, willingness, and interest to work in the field around 50% of working time.
  • Excellent observation skills: self-motivated to suggest improvements to the Bank’s buildings and property and solve maintenance issues; strengths in making follow-ups (e.g., on maintenance work) and organizing.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skill.
